We have established a large team of health professionals who are able to bring their services to you, regardless of your age or injury or where you live. We cover Southland, Otago and South Canterbury. If you need injury rehab we can get a team to you.
Range of Services:
Active Rehab Ltd can provide you with rehabilitation and support from start to finish and have programs and health professionals to assist people with simple through to very complex needs. We employ a range of clinical health professionals as well as vocational practitioners so we are able to deliver services right through the continuum of your recovery back to work or everyday life. Services are tailored to your specific needs and at the right pace for you. We will work with you in your home, workplace or community setting.
Co-ordination of Services:
Our staff work in close-knit teams with our clients at the centre, together making decisions, setting goals and planing the way forward. Once you identify your rehab goals the team will use their professional expertise and experience to help you achieve them and maintain the gains you have made. The Active Rehab team will also liaise with other important members of your rehab team such as your GP, Clinic Physio, ACC Case Manager or your employer.
Expertise:
Active Rehab Ltd takes care to employ highly skilled and experienced staff at all times. All of our rehabilitation professionals are carefully screened to ensure they hold the relevant qualifications that will enable them to practice safely and legally in New Zealand. Our staff have high performance expectations and participate in regular performance reviews. For all regulated Professions our providers have NZ registration. All staff are members of their professional associations and relevant special interest groups.
Our staff receive regular training, supervision and professional development support based on current best practice international guidelines.
Ongoing Quality Improvement:
We have a comprehensive Quality Improvement process established and we are currently working towards accreditation as an Allied Health Service provider. We regularly collect information from people who use our services to find ways we can improve on what we do.
